Programme 02Youth-centredInclusive

Inclusive Education, Digital Skills & Opportunity Access

Helping young people reach learning, technology, credible information and pathways that are often out of reach.

Purpose

What this programme is designed to change.

To reduce barriers to education and digital participation through practical ICT skills, devices and connectivity, safe digital behaviour, career guidance and trusted opportunity information.

What CYEI does

  • Foundational digital literacy and productivity tools
  • Cyber safety and responsible digital identity
  • Applications, CVs, email and digital portfolios
  • Accessible learning formats and low-data options
  • Community learning hubs subject to funding and local agreements
  • Media and information literacy
  • Education referrals, mentorship and opportunity guidance

Results CYEI seeks in funded projects

  • Improved confidence using digital tools
  • Safer and more responsible online participation
  • Stronger access to learning and credible opportunities
  • Better support for youth with limited devices or connectivity
  • Partnership pathways for skills progression and exposure
Digital programming must protect personal data, use safe devices and accounts, provide accessible learning options and avoid promising opportunities that CYEI cannot guarantee.
