UGCSP Strategic Youth-Engagement Role
CYEI's proposed strategic youth-engagement role within the MOHI-led Uganda Generational Civic Strengthening Program.
The challenge
Young people need practical, non-partisan and accessible ways to understand rights, responsibilities, public institutions, national memory and peaceful participation.
Project goal
To contribute youth mobilisation, leadership, accessible communication, digital outreach and participant feedback to a proposed non-partisan intergenerational civic-learning pilot.
Objectives
- Mobilise and recruit youth participants responsibly
- Support youth leadership, volunteerism and community participation
- Make learning practical, accessible and youth-friendly
- Support inclusion of young women and youth with disabilities
- Contribute to safeguarding, consent, feedback and learning

Implementation approach
UGCSP is MOHI-led. CYEI is the proposed strategic youth-engagement partner. The initiative remains subject to review, approvals and resource mobilisation.
